Why are Benefits Important?

If you needed dental care, would you be able to afford it? The cost of routine procedures can add up, not to mention expenses caused by root canals and extractions. A dental plan through your job can help cover these expenses, and guard against future problems by paying for preventive care.

If you were injured and couldn’t work, how would you pay your monthly bills? With a group disability plan, you’d receive benefits until you returned to work.

If you suffered from cancer or a heart attack, would you have enough money to pay all the expenses? Several expenses caused by critical illnesses aren’t covered by a medical plan, so enrolling in a group critical illness plan can help cover these costs.

The bottom line is employee benefits plans provide insurance coverage typically at a lower cost than if you purchased it on your own. Since health issues happen to anyone at any time, protecting yourself and your assets is critical.

Vision Benefits

Healthy eyes often translate into good overall health, so vision care is an important part of any benefits program. Regular eye exams can detect diseases like glaucoma, diabetes, and other possible causes of blindness in their early stages.

Our vision plans provide access to two large national vision care networks. We cover exams and materials, and allow members to visit any doctor they wish, but offer significant savings on out-of-pocket costs when visiting a network provider.

Critical Illness Insurance

There's a common belief that as long as you have medical and disability income coverage, you can handle the financial impact of a critical illness. But it’s not true.

Several medical expenses related to a critical illness aren’t covered by medical or disability insurance – treatments, doctors’ visits, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.

There are also uncovered non-medical expenses like lost wages, travel, and child care that can really add up and bankrupt even financially healthy families.

Critical Illnesses are common. 9 out of 10 consumers know someone or have a family member who has suffered a critical illness.(1) Critical illness can potentially affect virtually every family.

Critical Illness insurance is a valuable employee benefit that can help alleviate the financial burden of a critical illness (2) :

  • Pays a benefit upon a qualified diagnosis of Critical Illness: heart attack, cancer, stroke, major organ transplant, end-stage renal failure, or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG).
  • Lump sum payments are available from $1,000 to $50,000 (3).

  • Hospitalization payments are available up to $500 per day due to a non-critical illness such as an accident or injury.

Life Insurance

When the unexpected happens, ensuring loved ones have appropriate financial protection is crucial.

While most people recognize the value of life insurance, nearly one-third of American households currently don't carry any life insurance at all.(1)

We provide companies with Group Term plans and options, including voluntary coverage, that help give employees and their families protection against the most difficult circumstances.
